Trade on the terminal
The terminal is Sapling's trading app, at sapling.trade. Trade any coin from your Zcash wallet: deposit into one balance, then every buy and sale is one click.

What the terminal is
Any coin, one screen. Trending coins, new ones, coins planted on Sapling, or any coin by its name or its address. Its chart, its trades and its holders, live.
Your Zcash wallet pays. No Solana wallet needed. Your ZEC comes from Noir or Zodl, and goes back to it.
One trading balance. Deposit once, in ZEC from your Zcash wallet. It shows in dollars; buys come out of it and sales go back into it, in seconds.
Coins can go to zero. The terminal makes trading fast. It does not make a coin safer.
01Open your Zcash account on sapling.trade
Go to sapling.trade. Its first screen says Open your Zcash account, and so does Portfolio.
Already have a Sapling account? Press Find my account (passkey) with the passkey you made it with. It is the same account as on sapling.cash.
New here? Connect your Zcash wallet: Connect Noir, or for Zodl paste its transparent address (it starts with t1) and press Use this address. Your sales and withdrawals go to that wallet. Your first deposit, or your first buy, makes your passkey and opens the account (more on the account).

Press Deposit, type an amount in dollars and press Deposit from my Zcash wallet. Pay it in ZEC from Noir or Zodl, as any payment from your Zcash wallet. The same passkey turns on one-click on that device.
It usually arrives in 5–10 minutes, because Zcash needs a few confirmations. The sheet shows where it is: sent, seen on Zcash, confirming, arrived. Then it is in your trading balance, shown in dollars.

Deposit, at the top of the terminal or on Portfolio. 03One-tap trades from the balance
Open a coin, type an amount or tap one of yours, and press Buy. That is the whole trade: no signing each trade, no pop-up.
Your deposit's passkey turned on one-click on that device, and it stays on until you end it: every buy and sale from the balance is one click. On another device, finding your account with your passkey turns it on there too.
The terminal sets the slippage for you, from 15% to 50%, so a trade on a coin that moves fast still goes through.
One-click only trades inside your balance. Nothing leaves it except a withdrawal to your own Zcash wallet, and that still asks for your passkey. To turn it off, press End one-click on this device in your account.

On Sell, Into balance is chosen: the sale goes back into your trading balance in seconds, ready for the next trade.
Choose To Zcash wallet instead to have this sale paid straight to your Zcash wallet, in about 2 minutes.

No balance, or not enough? The buy is paid from your Zcash wallet instead, and the panel says so. Approve it in Noir, or send it from Zodl, then wait for Zcash's confirmations, usually 5–10 minutes.
A coin planted on Sapling is always traded with your Zcash wallet: bought from it with its own buy, and sold to it.
During the beta, one order from a Zcash wallet is at most 1 ZEC.
No balance needed. 06Withdraw to your Zcash wallet
On Portfolio, press Withdraw. All of the balance goes to your registered Zcash wallet as ZEC, through NEAR Intents, less the network's cost. One passkey approval.
It arrives in a few minutes, at your transparent address: this payout is not shielded. Every withdrawal is listed under Withdrawals.

Questions
What does it cost?
The terminal's fee, 1% of each trade, plus Solana's network fees and, for a deposit or a withdrawal, the cost of moving your ZEC in and out. Every cost is shown before you confirm.
Is one-click safe?
The key for one-click is made in your browser and never leaves it. It can only buy and sell inside your balance, until you end it in your account (on this device or on every device). It cannot send anything anywhere: only a withdrawal does, with your passkey, and only to your registered Zcash wallet.
I lost my phone. What now?
On another device, press Find my account (passkey) with a passkey on your account, and end one-click on every device from your account. Then withdraw if you want your ZEC home.
Is my sapling.cash account the same?
Yes. One Zcash account, one passkey, on both sites. The terminal's trading balance is its own part of that account.
Stay safe
No DMs, no keys. Sapling never DMs you first and never asks for your seed phrase or keys. Anyone who does is not Sapling.
Check every character of an address. Look-alike addresses copy only the first and the last few. Take an address from your own wallet's Receive screen, never from your history or an explorer.
